New Chapter, new Challenges...
Three years ago I made a bold move. I moved with my family to France, to start a new and exciting adventure in ENGIE, leading the Digital & IT function for the Group and contributing to the execution of our strategy with the Group EXCOM. It turned out to be a great decision.
When I started this role, our mission was clear: to place digital, data, and technology at the heart of ENGIE's strategy to accelerate the energy transition. Looking back, there is so much we have accomplished. I am so proud of many things: defining and executing on our 1000 days plan, running secure and reliable IT operations for 3+ years, scaling and converging our digital solutions, driving the digital and AI roadmaps through EXCOM engagement and governance, kicking off our 24/7 big bet, facilitating people mobility from digital to business and vice versa, and preparing our colleagues for the AI-powered world.
The landscape has also evolved dramatically. Three years ago, Generative AI was a concept on the horizon; today, it is daily reality we are leveraging to reshape our industry. We’re now looking towards the next frontier: physical AI with humanoid robots that could become as common as cars.
This journey would not have been possible without my brilliant and passionate Digital & IT teams. Your dedication and expertise have been the driving force behind our achievements and made my job a true privilege. My heartfelt thanks also go to Catherine Fiamma MacGregor and my colleagues on the Executive Committee and across the Group for your trust, partnership, and support. 🙏
Careers are not always linear. They are about being intentional in the development and seeking new challenges where you can make the greatest impact. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to make another bold move, this time "into the business," where I will bring my leadership, digital and transformation know-how to a P&L role - getting even closer to our clients and operations.
And I am happy to pass on the baton to Sébastien Arbola, whose business acumen and passion for all things data and AI make him a perfect person to lead the next phase.
